1. A laptop, pocket PC or other device with Wi-Fi 802.11b
wireless capability.
Your existing device may already have this capability built-in. If not, you can
purchase a Wi-Fi 802.11b wireless networking card for most laptops and many handhelds
at any major electronics retailer.
Once your device is wireless-enabled, you may need to set your SSID (or network
identifier) to 'incipient'. Refer to your wireless network card documentation
for specific instructions on how to make this change.
2. Your Favorite Web Browser. You can use any standard Internet-ready browser.
No client or special software is necessary.
3. A Service Plan. Incipient provides several service plans to choose from. Launch
your browser at any of our locations and pick the service plan that best meets
your needs.
Once you're connected, you can use all of your internet applications such as
browsers, email, instant messaging, VPN and terminal services are fully supported
through the network.
